I have just arrived in Penang and can't wait to go out for all the good local food at coffee shops. Weather is the same as hot as Singapore. But now I always remind myself not to complain to much about the weather because at least we are living in a safer environment. Many who are not not as lucky as us have to live in fear for cyclone, earthquake, landslide etc.
This is the time I will also catch up with a few good friends to chat and update each other on our process and changes. I will learn from other experiences to pick up good things and habits to develop my weakness and improve my life.
Recently I realised I have practice alot in "forgive and forget". I used to be a person who will always hate someone who was not on good term with me. That really make my llife miserable. Now that I have learnt to let go, I realise that I have a peaceful mind. I also feel happier as I am thankful that I have spent my day meaningfully.
I like to thanks all friends and love ones for making me a person today.

My 5 weeks off
I am finally back to work after a long 5 weeks off. I am trying to catch up with emails, acting on the most critical issues before I leave for my Penang trip next week from 26-28 May. This time not for fun but for official meetings. Struggling with preparing all my meeting materials.
First week was safe and nothing much happen, just picking my son from school and spending time at home to revise his school work to prepare for his examinations. Second and third weeks were terrible as he has chicken pox and could not go to school. In order not to let him missed his lessons and impacted his examination, I had to collect his school works in the afternoon during that two weeks. I had to coach him a few hours everyday at the same time making sure he would not be too tire and slow down his recovery. It was stressful because as I am not a proper trained teacher and I struggled quite a bit managing it.
4th week was an enjoyable one as I went to Langkawi with my lovely daughter on a 6D5N trip. It was so thoughtful of her to buy this trip as a mother's day gift for me. We went without all the males from the family. We had boarded a yacht for a sunset dinner trip. This is managed by a Germany lady and there were 6 of us on board. 1 couple from England were there to celebrate their 40 years anniversary. All of us joined in their fun. The husand was really funny. When we asked the wife to try the local pastries, he told us that the wife does not like any sweet stuff. The only sweet thing she cares about is him. We had a great fun. Beside relaxing, the greatest enjoyment was to be able to spend our quality time together without disturbance. It was jus the two of us to build up the female bond and relationship. My greatest achievement was to drive around in Langakawi!!! Thanks to my lovely daughter who encouraged me to try.
Last week was kind of lazing around at home getting ready to get back to work. Oh, my daughter and I tried to bring the little one to bowl on 19 May as he had never done that before. He was disappointed as he did not get a chance to do so as we were on the waiting list for 3 hours. I finally gave up waiting because we need to head home for dinner as everyone had to get back to work and school the next day. I was surprised with the crowded though it was a public holidays.
